I am writing to tell you that I recently completed a 3 day hiking tour through the mountain villages north of Chiang Mai. My guide was Wan Chai, and I believe that this was his first guided tour under the umbrella of your company.

I would like to say what an amazing job he did, from showing and explaining many aspects of the lives of the inhabitants of this region to cooking delicious meals for the group. His primary concern was always for the enjoyment, comfort and safety of his guests, as illustrated in the attached photo, where he walked into a river without hesitation to help us cross over without falling in.

Wan Chai's command of the English language was very good- walking with him for those few days really gave me a sense of the lives of the people living in this part of the world.

He is kind, modest, and extremely hard working- I hope that this endorsement will encourage you to consider him to guide many similar expeditions in the future! That tour remains for me a highlight of my stay in Thailand, and I feel privileged to have seen a part of this beautiful country which is not on the well beaten tourist path. If there is any one else who might benefit from receiving this email, I would be most appreciative if you could pass it along to them.

Best Regards

Food Scout at Khum Lanna, Chiang Mai

After our Food Scouts have safely arrived back in Germany, I did not want to miss the chance to thank you and the whole Khum Lanna team for this wonderful experience.

The group told me they had a fantastic stay and they loved Khum Lanna a lot. Also the cooking class and the bike tour was very suitable for the Food Scouts program.

On the food Scouts website, as well as on the Frosta Blog and on the Frosta Facebook Site you can have a look at the reporting from the trip, where they have published lots of information and great photos about Khum Lanna.

Although it is all in German language you might be interested in seeing it. I will also keep you updated on further publishing regarding this trip. The TV documentation will be broadcasted in September 2011.

I also want to thank you and your entire crew for their professional and friendly attitude during the entire cruise. It was what made it so enjoyable and successful!
